How to Make moving into a new home happen this year

Here we are at the beginning of a New Year and yet already one month in and all those promises and resolutions we made are falling away.
One of the things many of us think about doing at the beginning of a new year is moving home and yet as the year goes on we put obstacles in our path and talk ourselves out of actually doing it. We tell ourselves it costs too much money to move, it’s too stressful or the weather is too bad at this time of year, we even blame others telling ourselves “I want to move but my partner or children don’t”.
Whatever the reasons we come up with that prevent us from moving they are just excuses! If we really want to move we need to stop procrastinating and just do it!
Moving home can be a refreshing adventure bringing with it the joy and excitement of a new start.
However, the key to a successful move is getting motivated and planning. Sitting down and writing a check list of all the things you need to do before you move and organising this list into a time frame helps to keep you focused on the task ahead and helps to alleviate stress.
